Most of the poems I've included here have been part of the keyboard and plastic duck repertoire, so they have had a musical accompaniment. But they still remain poems. On some you can click the button to hear a recorded keyboard and plastic duck version.
For me, poems and songs and visual art are all like cousins—what connects them is more important than their differences. The impulse to make them seems to come from the same source—a longing to sort the universe in some meaningful way. A large task, done piece by piece, so that it often feels like a giant jigsaw puzzle. And you suspect that there might be a few pieces missing from the box.
